Technology Adoption in Agriculture

RCT project to address simultaneously the most prominent barriers to technology adoption for smallholders: lack of credit or liquidity, insufficient information about optimal input use, limited use of complementary inputs and risk aversion.

World of Books

Project focussed on improving reading skills and habits of elementary students enrolled in grades 1 to 3. The intervention seeks to foster parents’ engagement in their child’s reading and complement it with an innovative technology-based tool that matches children with level-appropriate books, which meet their reading skills and their topics of interest.

Who are we?

Qué Funciona para el Desarrollo A.C. (QFD) -What works for development-, is a non-profit academic organization that unites a team of experts in public policy design and evaluation in Mexico with prominent national and international researchers with the purpose of developing rigorous research that is useful and pertinent to boost innovative interventions for social and economic development.

What we do ?

QFD works for and with the Federal Government, State Governments, non-profit organizations, private enterprises and the academic sector to design and evaluate the impact of innovative programs for: HEALTH, EDUCATION, AGRICULTURE, EMPLOYMENT, FINANCIAL INCLUSION and other areas of social and economic development. Its quality seal is technical robustness and substantiated knowledge generation to disseminate WHAT WORKS FOR DEVELOPMENT. .
