IMPACT EVALUATION

An impact evaluation measures the changes that can be attributed to the implementation of a policy or program. Impact evaluation measures the effects of the intervention by comparing treatment and control groups.

  • Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs):Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) have proven their effectiveness in Science for centuries. In simple terms, in an RCT the potential beneficiaries of a program are divided randomly in two groups, one that receives the benefits of a program immediately while the other receives them later, acting as a control group which mimics what would happen without the program. This allows validly attributing differences between groups to the program effects. QFD specializes in the design and execution of RCTs. Among our main projects are: Prospera Digital, Adoption of Technologies in Agriculture and World of Books.

  • Quasi-experimental and qualitative evaluations:

QFD´s main expertise and goal is the development of RCTs, however, according to each Project needs, we can contribute to evaluation studies using robust quasi-experimental techniques as well. Likewise, we successfully complement our quantitative research with qualitative techniques with the support of institutions and experts on the subject.
